We've named this collection for my Aunt Modena.  Coming of age in the mid-1950's, she was a mix of independent spirit, adventurous traveler, lover of all books and beautiful objects, and classic style.  She was as much at home singing traditional Southern hymns as she was strumming her guitar and pulling pranks on whomever happened to be her target for the day.  She was glorious, my first best friend, and this collection represents not only items she owned, but ones I know she would have loved.
